Biography

Karen Soos, M.Div., is the assistant director of Campus Ministry. She is passionate about accompanying people as they explore questions of faith, call, and the life of the spirit. Before coming to this position, she managed a community residence for low-income seniors on Chicago’s North Side. She also served for many years as a campus minister and associate college chaplain in North Carolina. Soos is a long-time member of Sophia Community, an intentional community in Hyde Park, and she is a pickleball enthusiast.
